In the second quarter of 2024, the sandbox game category has shown varying trends across the top applications on the unified platform. Here's a closer look at how these games have fared in terms of downloads and user activity.

Roblox, by Roblox Corporation, maintained a strong presence with a slight fluctuation in revenue, peaking at nearly $7M in the first week of April but dipping to around $5.8M towards mid-June. Downloads saw a consistent increase, reaching 8.5M by the end of June, while weekly active users saw an uptrend, finishing at 357K.

Zamiton Dupila's Craft Box Game Tree showed a sharp increase in downloads, from a modest 31K at the start of April to an impressive 8.9M in the third week of May. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, climbing to 8.5K in the same period.
